We began baking gluten-free so a friend with dietary restrictions could share after dinner treats with us at dinner parties. To our delight, all of our friends raved about our desserts and wanted more! Lisa & Mo was created as we read more about the health benefits of eating gluten-free and all natural.
We use only the freshest all-natural ingredients. We've replaced the hybrid flours with healthy almond meal and other high-protein, high-fiber ingredients. Whenever the recipe allows, we also add organic fruits and vegetables. Nothing fake; no preservatives! Our s'mores, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, tarts and biscotti are simply delicious - whether you need to eat only gluten-free treats or not.

As a ceramic artist, Lisa likes to joke that by turning her talents to baking, she has traded in one type of oven for another. Her ceramic art has been featured in galleries and great stores across the US, as well as in magazines. Her clients have included sports and media stars. Now, we're thankful that she's turned her creative energies to baking. The mother of three lives in Los Angeles and bakes in Pasadena.
Mo (aka: Molly) is Lisa's next door neighbor and a long time friend. She is an author, lecturer, and writer on a number of topics, including business development. Mo likes to point out that, though good friends, their tastes are so different that they couldn't even agree on font styles for their logo! (Note their humorous solution.) Yet one thing they absolutely agree on is their mutual dedication to bringing customers the best tasting gluten-free products out there. They're so good, you'll taste the difference!
